Comparing analog and digital learning media
Below I compare an analog learning medium and a digital learning medium based on the characteristics of interaction:
- Accepts user input that initiates a user response
- Accepts input from a variety of input devices
- Responds to the user's actions
- Analyzes user input to formulate a response
- Provides output, often as visual or audio
- Includes a navigational scheme
- Permits user manipulation of the media (after media is developed)
- Permits user manipulation of the content
- Facilitates communication with others
By analyzing different learning media in this way, I am equipped to manage different learning resources across learning contexts.
